President Hinckley passes away at 97

I was sad, but not surprised to hear the news this morning of President Hinckley's death last night. I've always loved him, and am sad that we'll no longer get to hear him speak in conference. One of my favorite memories was at a BYU devotional. Standing up to sing Praise to the Man, as he and Sister Hinckley walked into the Marriott Center. The feeling of singing with thousands of people while the Prophet walked into the room, reminded me of what it must feel like when choirs of angels sing together. Wow, that was an awesome experience. He was such a good man and wonderful ambassador for the Church. I especially appreciated his sense of humor. He always seemed to keep things in perspective. I'm so glad he's been reunited with Sister Hinckley and I'm sure there are choirs of angels singing for him right now. Here's the link for more info: President Hinckley Press Release
