Isaiah is called

2 Nephi 16

Isaiah sees the Lord—Isaiah’s sins are forgiven—He is called to prophesy—He prophesies of the rejection by the Jews of Christ’s teachings—A remnant shall return—Compare Isaiah 6. Between 559 and 545 B.C.

My head is still trying to recover from Christmas. Plus, I'm sitting at the kitchen counter with Leapster & Nintendo DS music in the background. Probably not the best atmosphere for pondering scriptures. Handicaps aside, I'll try to understand what I'm reading. I was most impressed by verse 8 when the Lord is speaking to Isaiah:
"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: aWhom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said: Here am I; send me."

Of course this reminded me of the scripture from Abraham where Heavenly Father is laying forth the Plan of Salvation: "And the aLord said: Whom shall I bsend? And one answered like unto the Son of Man: Here am I, send me. And canother answered and said: Here am I, send me. And the Lord said: I will dsend the first."

Backtracking the 2 Nephi chapter, I was trying to figure out if this conversation was in a dream or a vision? The method probably doesn't matter, but this struck me as another Old Testament example of typifying Christ.
