2 Nephi 15
The Lord’s vineyard (Israel) shall become desolate and his people shall be scattered—Woes shall come upon them in their apostate and scattered state—The Lord shall lift an ensign and gather Israel—Compare Isaiah 5. Between 559 and 545 B.C.***
Here's that scripture I've been thinking of lately!:
"Wo unto them that acall bevil good, and good evil, that put cdarkness for light, and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"
How many times in a day does this happen? In movies? books? tv? radio? Popular culture calling good things evil.
"You stay home with your kids? What kind of a lazy woman are you?"
"You believe in God? You practice religion?"
"You mean you waited until you were married to live with someone??"
And so on...
Anyhow, it's good to see things haven't changed for thousands of years. Even in Isaiah's time people were up to the same nonsense. This is, literally, the oldest trick in the book. Look at the snake himself chatting with Eve.
